Spring is coming…

Blog Hop Party with Give-Aways

Yes its true – Spring is around the corner….I’m very happy to share in the Quilting Blog Hop for the next week, thanks for visiting!

I have a great project to share with you today all about Spring (since we are all trying to beat the winter blues) and a little girl named Bella.  I wanted to make a simple and cute quilt for my grand-niece (I’m not that old, my niece just started early).  Bella is just adorable and her name is actually Isabella – but Bella fits her so well.  I only get to see her at Christmas but each year her cuteness grows with her.  She’s a very polite child (great parents) with a sweet sense of curiosity and joy.  I promised her mom I would make her a quilt and that it wouldn’t take all year to do it – so this blog hop is the perfect occasion to make a new pattern!

quilt2The quilt is made really fun pinwheels in the sashing and super simple 9 patches.  I finished the body of the quilt with fun pinwheels – all made in bright and colorful fabric from Kaffe Fasset to Riley Blake.  I’m excited to give-away a color pack  of matching fabric and my new pattern for this quilt so you can make one for your favorite child or yourself.

All you have to do to enter for the drawing is leave a comment “Was this winter sunny or snowy” or “Tell me about your favorite “Bella” child.

I would also encourage you to visit my website to view my new designs and events, speaking of which…..
